The Bitstreamer is used to describe a 0-5V time-variable signal with a sequence of bits. Since it is used to describe an EMG signal, it uses a moving average and a fixed one to discriminate the muscle activation from rest state. The last stage is an op-amp logic AND gate between the moving average-based comparator and the fixed baseline one.
